This article showed up at NJ.com, as Chere reports that winger, former Devil, former Conn Smythe winner, and legendary agitator Claude Lemieux is still playing hockey at age 43 with the China Sharks. I took a quick look at NHL.com and found a whole interesting feature about it and the AIHL, the Asian Ice Hockey League that he's in right now. In addition to playing, he's contributing to the world abroad by teaching tens of other hockey players how to curse in multiple languages. Whether it is by Lemieux or at Lemieux, well, it's probably both.

I found this article out from Tibbs, who runs the Beast of the East. He provides a daily aggregate of all the Devils (NJ, Lowell, and Trenton) related news stories as well as other NHL stories of interest. Between Gulitti, Chere, and Tibbs, you'll know everything there is to know about what's going on with the Devils.

Now he's playing hockey for the SJ Sharks organization

Probably smart for them to take a chance that he could possibly contribute something.

Maybe so, but first he has to show he still has game with Worcester. I’d have to think even with injuries, he wouldn’t be the first guy to call up unless Lemieux plays well in the A.
