Zach Parise Own Zone

Drafted in 2003 by the New Jersey Devils with the 17th overall pick, Zach Parise has flourished for the University of North Dakota, USA Hockey as a junior, and now for the New Jersey Devils.   He has been tabbed with being a skilled forward, but he has a remarkable work ethic and determination to go with natural scoring and play making ability.

And he's only in his fourth season at age 24.

This year, he's not just breaking out; he's exploding. He's not only above a point per game pace, but he's among the league's leading scorers in points, and more suprisingly for a Devil, in goals.  In 48 games, Parise has 28 goals, 28 assists, 172 shots, and 5 game winning goals for the Devils this season.  Some of them haven't been pretty, but they all have been the result of great skill and/or great effort. Need more stats?  His CORSI is out of control at 13.1, according to Behind the Net, who rates him on their statistical formula as the top Devils' player as of right now - not including tonight's game.

Because of all of the amazing things he has done and will continue to do- the hustle on nearly every shift, the willingness to get physical and into traffic, the oh, so many highlights - I decree that this be the Zach Parise Own Zone.

Basically, you can post links to videos, pictures, and tales of the times that Zach Parise done something great in this FanPost.  I don't want something weird or creepy.  Just examples of how special of a hockey player he's been - be it for New Jersey, USA Hockey, U of ND, or even Albany.  Here's that amazing assist from tonight's Ottawa game, as uploaded to Youtube by NJDevils4.

Let the ownage...begin!
