Disturbing Stat of the Day
Oduya leads the team in crappiness with a -7, and his 12 PIMs trails only Clarkson’s 16 (10 of which are due to two 5 minute majors, if I’m not mistaken).
Neither does Oduya have a single point yet.
I was very happy when they resigned him, but he has not lived up to his contract yet at all.
i agreeeeeee !
look back about my statments about it,i was overjoyed with his sighning and now feel real dissapointed.i think hes dosnt seem to be excelling with the coaching change like martin and greene have .i still am hoping he will adjust.

I plan on looking into this further, it’s a little murkier when you look at per-60 numbers and that he actually looked better on Saturday night gives some signs of hope.
But yeah, Oduya’s struggling early on.
Devils in my heart! Devils in my mind! Devils in my eyes! Devils until I die!

He’s definitely looked better and at times has played brilliantly.
I was just surprised when I looked at the team stats and saw those numbers. The PIMs in particular are disturbing as they’re the hallmark of a struggling defenseman who’s clutching and grabbing… symptomatic of not playing positionally sound hockey.
wow
thats really surprising to me. ive only seen a couple of games, but i thought he looked pretty good this past weekend
