Former Devils coach Pat Burns, who still serves as a special assignment coach for the team and scouts most of the Lightning home games, is here today. Burns, who is battling lung cancer, didn’t want to saying anything about his health to the media, but when I told him that fans ask about him a lot, he said, "Tell them I’m doing fine."

i can watch a game - its watching a game & trying to type w/o spilling your beer
all over laptop thats difficult.
Devils kill the penalty. Not a lot of clearances, but the Lightning couldn’t get a clear shot on net – maybe one at the most?

He’s also sticking with Tampa Bay. Unless I’m mistaken, he’s played more games than what is allowed to send a player back to junior. Congrats to Wright for impressing the Lightning enough to stay on the squad.

I guess I have only two questions:
1) Can the Devils’ defense continue to prevent Tampa Bay from getting clear shots on net?
2) Can the Devils beat Nittymaki? Surely, high and glove side is not an option.

From the limited ice time of Fraser the last 2 games, he’s shown he can throw some hits. He decked someone in front of the net last game. Drilled someone into the boards behind the net today. If only stevens can teach him the art of the open ice hit.
That’s his style – he’s a tough, defensive-minded defenseman. Learning from Stevens would definitely help. I wish Larry Robinson was also about to help him as well.
I’m not sure how much upside he has, but given that he’s still up with NJ even prior to the injuries, he’s doing well enough.

Saw Pearl Jam at the Spectrum in Philly wed. Its too bad owners wont make stadiums like that anymore. Everyone is so close together. Makes for a better enviroment.
When I saw Tom Petty at the PRU, I had a great time and all. But the seating areas are so spread out. Takes out the LOVE.
