Rockland Regulars?
Appearing to be head-to-toe in hockey gear, the Rockland Regulars earned a flash on TV today for making the trek all the way to Tampa to provide the Devs with some extra bodies as they took on the Lightning.
Is it odd or ironic that these high-profile Devils fans live in New York and are named for a county in that state?
Are they the best fans in the NHL? Or at least the most creative?
Are they the greatest Devils fans of all time? Most devout?

To answer them in order...

I don’t think so. The Devils may be Jersey’s Team, but they are a world-class organization.

While dedicated and creative (as well as willing to spend money as they shipped their own hockey gear along with them on their trip), I don’t think so.

Were they the guys that were all there wearing full hockey gear, and devils jerseys, and helmets and everything?
If so, I was right next to them

Yep.
Then congratulations, you (may) have been on TV. The MSG+ cameras cut to those fans a few times during the broadcast.

I agree – it’s improving; but yeah, the opportunity is really is still New Jersey’s for the taking.

Yeah. I mean it shouldnt be hard since they have a team logo that can easly be used in so many ways. Not to mention aside from last year they have the best winning team in the Tristate -area. I can atttest to there long island fan base. When they play the isles they have alot of fans here. The Zach Parise siging in the Roservelt Field mall over here gathered quite a few people. I Gaurantee if they could get newsdays attention(assuming newsday can stop acting like mark everson in the post and print equal positive info instead of negaitve). You may see more train rides to the rock. Think of it like the Jets LIRR package to the meadowlands. Gets fans really into to it. Plus if the isles move to KC you watch how many Isles to Dev fans conversions are going to happen.
