Around SBN: Tiger Woods Makes His 2012 PGA Tour Debut

Tom Gulitti confirmed from Lou what Bob McKenzie originally reported in a tweet that the New Jersey Devils placed Brendan Shanahan on waivers. Shanahan was moved - temporarily in retrospect - to a non-roster list yesterday, which allowed Ilkka Pikkarainen to be activated for last night's game.

So here's a question: Will anyone pick up Shanahan?

Nah, don’t see it happening, only because I don’t think Shanny would want to be picked up. But maybe.

No one picked him up

Well, he could be assigned to Lowell. He can just choose to not report or the Devils could just leave him as-is.
