Does anyone think that SNY will try to get a winter sports team?

Maybe the Islanders or Devils could be moving to SNY – would like to see the Islanders because when you move networks – the new network could make changes to the on air staff.

If memory serves, when SNY and YES were in their infancy, Dolan and Cablevision offered both the Islanders and Devils an incredibly lucrative deal to stay on their networks.

So…no, SNY won’t be pursuing a team soon. With the Nets tied up with YES, is there any team available?

This is true. SNY and YES went for the Devils, but Dolan offered some 20 year contract.
