Brendan Shanahan named NHL VP for Hockey and Business Development

Former New Jersey Devil and likely mortal-lock for the Hockey Hall of Fame, Brendan Shanahan was hired to a VP position by the NHL. That's the NHL, not the NHLPA. It's great to see him continue working within the game and I'm sure he'll make an impact of sorts. Shanahan appeared on the NHL Hour today where he answered some initial questions about the game.
