Editor's Note: I said it before and I'll say it again: If Martin Brodeur isn't starting for Canada, then Canada isn't serious about winning gold.

Haters gonna hate

Call me a hater but I feel that strongly about Marty as #1 for Canada. Go for the goaltender who actually backstopped Canada to a gold medal instead of the hometown hype of Luongo or the relative youth of Fleury.

I agree with you John, mainly because i’m Canadian and just because Marty is not only a better goalie Fleury and Luongo but a better puck handler. No trapezoid means that he can play the puck anywhere, which will give Canada not only an “extra” defenseman, but can prevent the forecheck.
