Please visit Matchsticks and Gasoline for the Calgary side in tonight's game.  For the Devils, keep it here and leave all the comments you'd like.  I'll see you all a little after the game.  Please keep it clean, keep it relevant, and Go Devils.

Wow, lotta inactivity here.

Well, Devils got two back and taken the lead with so little time left. Gionta, though, has taken an interference penalty. Hopefully, they’ll hold until period’s end.

And, thankfully, no further damage. Gio has :38 left in the box. 2-1 Devils. Good response to falling behind in the first.

game over

Another win for Marty tonight. It was not easy but thanks to Langenbrunner and Parise we pulled it out tonight. I thought Havelid looked better tonight and was also happy to see Rupp back in the lineup.

Rupp

Did you see his fight with Roy earlier in the game? I wonder how he fared, b/c if he held his own well, I’d say that would be a good welcome back.

Sutter

Glad to see Rupp back in the Line up. Too bad pandolfo has a NTC wish we could have unloaded him,. Whats the deal with sutter? he wants to leave now?

Good job on the comments everyone.

Havelid did play better tonight. I think he fits in well with White, who also played well except for the stupid delay of game he should have easily avoided at the end. PK units were great, team did better overall, but I could think of some areas where the could have done better.

Sutter does want to retire…to his bed. He’s probably thinking about getting some sleep soon.
