The winner of this game, hopefully the Devils, will have won exactly one game. In a series as close as this one, looking ahead and/or taking games for granted is not a wise choice. Disappointment will only occur when the other team takes the unfocused ones to the Learning Tree™.

Why not try bribery? Extortion? Threats of chaos, maybe?

Solid first period
A couple of sustained rushes by the Hurricanes, but the Devils looked pretty sharp for the most part.
3-0 now
The Devils look like a totally different team than they did coming down the stretch.

Game 1 over.
This game showed the Devils team that won most of the year. They were hungry aggressive and tenacious on the puck. They had balanced scoring and played most of the game in their own zone. If they continue to play like this this series will end quickly.
