Round 1 Game 2 Preview: Devils vs. Carolina
The Key Word for Game 2: CALM
Opposition Coverage: Canes Country

Complete Coverage >

Per Gulitti, Johnny Oduya will play for the Devils tonight, as will Rod Brind'Amour for the Canes.

Your expected goaltenders will be the same:  Martin Brodeur vs. Cam Ward.

Feel free to leave any comments you have about tonight's game or the series or either team.  Anything relevant to what's going on, really.  Please keep the comments clean, even if this game goes awry for the Devils.

Like for Game 1 I will be at The Rock for  Game 2; looking to reclaim my goal as being the loudest one in Section 1 - likely failing to start a "There's only one D in Devils" chant.  I know it's a bit silly, but it works for Fulham - why not the Devils?   Regardless if you're at the Rock or elsewhere, support the Devils as they take their second step on what will hopefully be a long and successful journey.

Remember this from NHL.com as mentioned in the preview:  Teams that open up the series at 2-0 are 254-37 all time in the playoffs.  Plenty of incentive for the Devils to be the 255th team in that stat.
