Wow no one going to the Devils next season…. Seems like a third of the market is going to the Rangers. It just says that every one of these websites are Ranger fans….. In the Bleacher report.

I noticed that somehow Calgary is keeping Cammalleri and Bouwmeester, maybe they think they’ll get paid 7 million kronor/year instead of US Dollars?

But seriously, maybe they bit into the Aftonbladet-reported story that Oduya’s resigned, so they didn’t bother to include them? Or maybe they just forgot.

And another thing from that Bleacher Report by Greg Caggiano

I’m having trouble with this logic:

Moving on to the Devils’ coaching situation, not only do Joe and I agree but so does Don La Greca and Brian Monzo as well, that Jacques Lemaire should be their next head coach. When looking at New Jersey’s roster you will notice that other then Parise and Elias, this team will be losing a lot of their scoring to free agency this off-season.

Let’s assume the Devils don’t resign any of their UFAs. The only player who has scored more than 20 goals this past season was Gionta who had exactly 20. He’s also the only UFA who scored more than 10 goals last season! In total, all 7 UFA skaters – and I’m including Holik and Havelid who aren’t returning – scored 49 goals last season. I think the Devils should be able to replace those goals pretty well across 7 skaters.
