Devils to Name Head Coach Today: Reportedly Jacques Lemaire

PrintAccording to Gulitti, it appears that the Devils will be naming their head coach today and all signs are pointing to Jacques Lemaire. I'm not exactly thrilled about it, but if there's anything you can say about Lemaire it's that he's been a winner throughout his career, either coaching or playing. I'm not thrilled about the Devils taking a step back, style wise, but they could've done worse than a Stanley Cup winning coach and the coach that started the Devils on their current path of incredible success as well as the guy who gave Martin Brodeur his shot.

Good to know that we can have some closure to this story. However, I’m a bit apprehensive if it is Lemaire, just like yourself. I don’t think his system will work in today’s NHL. I hope that he can adjust his system to fit the current times and still carry out measures of success.
I don't need no instructions to know how to rock!
