Maxim and Ales
I wouldn’t mind them being on our team. These guys can score at least 20 goals a year. They can score more if they have the right line mates. Lines would be as if we signed Koivu.
Elias- Koivu- Rolston
Parise- Zajac- Langenbrunner
Afinogenov- Zubrus- Clarkson
Leblond- Pelley- Kotalik / Pandolfo
Afinogenov is
the biggest underachiever I’ve ever seen. The guy has all world speed and talent, and yet he continues to not play up to that level year after year. It doesn’t help that the guy can’t stay healthy through a whole season. He’s only topped 70 games 4 out of his nine NHL seasons. The guy has point a game talent, but tends to disappear. Think Kovalev meets Gaborik, with less talent.

That's about how I feel about him
He’s never impressed me like I felt he should, and frankly, I don’t want him on the team.
maxium would make a great defensive forward with all that speed.ive thought it for a while he might be helpful for the devils.like elias without the goal scoring.

But I don't think
he has any control in his skating. Looks wild when he’s skating fast, to me. I really can’t see him as a defensive guy. He’s a big gambler. That’s why he has so many breakaways.

Well, he wasn't ours
But I’m not pleased with it. I guess either the reports of the Devils making him a multi-year offer were false, or they weren’t and Saku just wanted to be elsewhere. That’s the problem with UFAs, you can offer way more than anyone else and the player may choose to sign with someone else.
Short of a leak, we won’t know the whole story and it won’t matter because Saku Koivu is a Duck. Best of luck to him as he plays out his career in the Western Conference.
Devils in my heart! Devils in my mind! Devils in my eyes! Devils until I die!

If we had
the best player to ever play for his home country on our team, that would have helped. Think it’s a coincidence that he signed a one year deal and The Flash has said that he’ll retire after this year? Not likely.
Signed a one year deal??!!!
Didn’t want to play with his brother because he thought it was Mikko’s team.

he would have too be def. forward
about the maxim i idid not no of injury probs i only no what i saw when i watch him play fast and cannot score he would deff be a 3 line checker he has no finishing ability.the price would have too be less then 1 mill.
