Around SBN: Newcastle Battle Injury Woes Ahead of Tottenham

"Not yet. We're just kind of discussing my status," Elias told The Star-Ledger yesterday. "I'm trying not to think about this as a setback. I had the surgery and I did everything I could with rehab. Whenever I'm ready, I'm ready. It's still going to take a little while for me not to feel anything. It takes three months or a little longer to recover from this. I'm progressing every day."

Patrick Elias comments about his status after an offseason hip surgery, stating he's not at 100%. Definitely not inspiring news reported by Chere

Given that it's been 3 months since the surgery and he's done the rehab, it could just mean a few more weeks. It is uncertain. At least he'll be at camp and hopefully he'll be able to participate sooner rather than later.
