Who Are NJD Fans Rooting For at the Olympics?
To begin, I'm going to assume that most of those who are reading this are Americans, but our goalie, Martin Brodeur, is playing in his 4th olympics, and looking to redeem himself after a disappointing all-around performance from the Canadian olympic team at Turin in 2006. There will be tremendous pressure on Marty to bring the gold to Canada in 2010 seeing as the olympics will be held in Vancouver. So who are you rooting for come february? Note there will be pressure on Parise carrying the offensive load for the US, as well as Elias being the captain of the Czech Republic's team.

Olympics
Obviously, I’m pulling for individual success for all the Devils in the Olympics. That said, I’m taking USA to win this!
Beer is good! And stuff!
Rooting for the US but hoping for success for all Devils involved, though a part of me wants Marty to only get Silver so he feels more motivated to win the Cup this year.
I’d like for Parise to have a great Olympics to help bring exposure to what a great player he is and team he plays for. It’s a tremendous opportunity for him to make himself a household name as he so rightly deserves to be.
And, of course, no injuries!
Broduer for Canada
I’d love to see Broduer win a gold medal and the cup this year
I’m rooting for the United States because of Parise and Langenbrunner (I honestly don’t see Martin being in any condition to actually play on this squad due to injury) but also because I always root for them. However, if USA should not advance to the finals, I’ll be rooting for Canada because of Brodeur.

U-S-A !!!
Won’t be easy for the stars and stripes, but it all comes down the who the hot team will be in the tournament. As much as I will miss NHL hockey, the olympics will be like an all star game that actually means something unlike the regular all star game which is chock-full-o soft goals and softer checks.
