Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Today was the trade deadline for the QMJHL and there was plenty of action. Two Devils prospects have been moved today. Canada's WJC captain Patrice Cormier is now a member of Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (23-17-2-1). He joins up with Devils prospect Jean-Sebastian Berube.

Eric Gelinas has been moved as part of a three-way deal that saw him eventually end up with Chicoutimi Sagueneens (15-17-4-4).

Does anyone know how this affects their post season chances or even upgrades? I am pretty sure that Gelinas was on a bad team, right?

Lewiston, Gelinas’ old team, is currently 16-24-0-1 (W-L-OT Loss-SO Loss) and fourth (meaning last place) in the Telus Central Division. They are 10 points behind third place Shawinigan

Chicoutimi is 15-17-4-4 and third in the Telus Eastern Division. They are 9 ahead of fourth place Baie-Comeau and 12 behind second place Rimouski, who is 22-13-4-2.

Cormier’s new team, Rouyn-Noranda is 24-17-2-1 and is in first place of the Telus Western Division with a 4 point lead over Gatineau.
