Fantasy NHL vs Zach Parise! (and Eric Staal)

Interesting "contest" here from RotoArcade of Y! sports. I could imagine how cool it would be to own Zach Parise and play AGAINST him for maybe two weeks (it's a head-to-head set-up). It'll be funny if he'll tank his games in real life just to beat you in fantasy..

This got me thinking about an off but interesting point. Would you draft Parise 1st overall or Eric or stick with Fleury for the 2003 draft.

I am thinking Parise, but Eric did put 100 points a few years ago. But he has been declining along with his team over the past few years.

Good question. You could even put Getzlaf in there who’s been averaging 1+ PPG the last three seasons. Its funny how Eric Staal could have been a Penguin, but they traded up for Fleury. Then the draft after the season Eric gets 100 pts, they draft his little brother.

Also, per hockeyDB , the only 1st rounder not to play an NHL game yet: Hugh Jessiman (NYR 12th pick)
