Even an aussie hockey blog is worried about the Devils...

Hey guys,

Sorry to chime in out of nowhere, I'm usually lurking around PPP. But anyhew, I found this article from an Aussie hockey blog that I wanted to share. It looks like concerns about the Devils can be found all over the world.

The whole thing can be found here

A quick exert is below:

The record for New Jersey's 3 games into the season is nothing to get excited about. 3 games played, 0 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie. 6 goals for and 14 against. I'll just repeat myself there so you know it wasn't a typo... 6 goals for, 14(!) against. New Jersey believe they have re-signed the premier offensive talent that was available during the offseason. While Kovalchuck has put up 2 assists since the season started, 0 goals 3 games into the season is certainly not what New Jersey was expecting. Kovalchuck is out of excuses now. He is playing on a good team, he is not the focus of the other teams defensive strategy and he has offensive support. He must start producing or the Devils will quickly regret the $100M investment they have made in him. 14 goals against is also very uncharacteristic for New Jersey. However being uncharacteristic is keeping in tune with the organisations performance during the last 6 months.....
