PL3 - alive and well in the AHL

PL3

Sometimes when an established player particularly an enforcer type gets "sent down", that may be the last fans of the parent club ever hear of him. Perhaps that will be the case for Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, only time will tell. However PL3  is starting to make his presence "felt" in his old stomping grounds. Take for instance the A-Devils match up last night in Albany with the Charlotte Checkers (formerly the Albany River Rats).

In a bruising second period fight PL3 (6'2",  215 lbs. ) dropped the gloves with heavy weight defensemen Zak Fitzgerald (6'2", 205 lbs.). Fitzgerald looked like he was pounding back four big ones as his head violently jerked backwards. He was actually absorbing the best four punch sequence I have seen in hockey in some time. To his credit Fitzgerald did not go down, but he was clearly looking for the exits.

fSo PL3 will bide his time with the A-Devils.  Keeping sharp and awaiting a call up for his special brand of hockey.
