Devils Place Anton Volchenkov on Injured Reserve and Call Brad Mills from Albany
Anton Volchenkov was put on retroactive IR (from October 9th), which means he can be recalled whenever he is ready. The Devils had to do this to stay at a 23-man roster. Per Rich Chere, Mills was called up in case one of the forwards is scratched tonight. Also from Chere, Lou is taking some precaution with some players who may be banged up a bit or tired from yesterdays game.
