Scariest part about Halloween is the Devil's Play

So like every other Devil's fan I'm unhappy with the way my team is playing. I can't believe we're off to this terrible start, BUT four of our top seven defense-men are out with injuries. Losing our number one of Anton Volchenkov is definitely hurting us, and the fact that every pairing has a rookie with no experience in the NHL is showing every game. I's sorry but I watch just about every Devil's game and even I can't recognise the numbers on half of the defense's jerseys.

Injuries are killing us this year and now that Parise is getting sent back to NJ for his knee is a huge concern. I'm not saying that are defense is going to score goals, because that is not the type that we have, but if they could stop the other team from contolling our zone we would have much better offensive opportunities.

To sum it up, the Devils need to get healthy and hope to salvage this season because right now we don't stand a chance. There is no reason to fire our coach, we just need to get healthy and give Marty some players in front of him to stop goals. I thought this road trip was going to help us, but right now all I think we need is time and rest for our injured players.
