Per TG, the status quo is still maddeningly the status quo. Nothing is changing and he doesn't want to talk about it. The USS NJ Devils cruise ship is sinking and Lou doesn't even want to rearrange the deck chairs. We're going down and there aren't nearly enough lifeboats for the fans. Other sailing and cruise metaphors as well.
