Do you still feel upset after the Devils lose?

The Devils went down to Georgia looking for a win and did not get a point in their 21st game this year. They currently sit at 9-21-2, are riding a seven game road losing streak, and the only chance they have to score a goal is on the powerplay. Whoever the fault truly lies with, I cannot see this team going on a miraculous run to make the playoffs. We are a slow team without any creativity that looks lost in the offensive and defensive zone at times. Want a positive for the holidays - the powerplay looks good having scored at least once in each of the past 7 games. Merry Christmas.

Something needs to be done. The team does not look prepared. Where does the onus lie on that one, whether it be the players or the coach, we may never know. But what I was not prepared for, in all of my years as a Devils fan, was becoming "used" to losing. Every game the Devils have lost since they played Montreal has not left me in that weird, cranky mood that leaves me tossing and turning in my sleep. In fact, I'm often able to laugh off the loss now. When the team wins, I'm very excited and think about how we could possibly turn our season around. But, like all things with the Devils this season, consistency is lacking. I will still believe day in and day out that any win could lead us on a mega winning streak that somehow jettisons us into the playoffs, but, at least for the rest of this season, I know how fans of perennially bad teams feel about their hockey team.
