Flu bug?

The team should really look into better physician or sanitary practices. I teach at a school and THOSE kids are germ factories . . . but today everyone of ’em is here. Must be weird

I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.

well..

kids aren’t in as much close contact – sweating through practice/drills, in the trainer’s, in the locker room, sharing planes/busses/hotel rooms on the road…these guys see a lot of each other pretty much every day.

also, a kid has a slight fever and feels crummy, mom keeps him home, less chance of infecting other kids. NHL player has a slight fever and feels crummy, comes to practice anyway, exposes the rest of the team to whatever he has.

Whew...it was just the flu?

Here I was worrying our team was slumping because of injuires, lack of cohesive lines, etc etc. It was just the flu! We don’t need a 10 million dollar a year Russian…we just need antibiotics.
