Watching the Devils Online?

Just a quick question for everybody...

I live in an area where we don't get MSG+, but I also can't get NHL Gamecenter or NHL Center Ice because Comcast claims that I do get it, when in reality I cant, so blackout rules apply.

Do any of you fine people know websites to watch Devils games on? Right now, I listen to WFAN and follow the steam on this website, but thats it! Thank you!

Just because you’re supposed to get MSG+ according to your cable company should have nothing to do with being able to get Center Ice. You may not be able to get Center Ice because your cable company doesn’t even offer it. That was my problem when I first moved out of the area so I signed up for Direct TV. Fortunately after I moved again I was able to switch cable companies and I can now get Center Ice through the cable company. Ditto for Game Center. Shoot, that’s completely unrelated to your cable since it comes through your PC.

Anyway, www.nhl.com does offer a package you can subscribe to in order to watch the games online. It’s the only legal way I’m aware of.

I do get Center Ice...

but the problem is: if you go on the MSG+ website, it gives an channel number for my area and cable provider, but when I go the channel, I don’t get MSG. Because of this, I am blacked out from Center Ice and Gamecenter…its a very confusing situation and it is annoying me, but thank you for your sugestions.

OK, I understand the cable scenario, but how can they stop you from using Gamecenter?

Gamecenter blacks out local games. They’d pretty much have to since they rely on the TV broadcasts and if Gamecenter showed everything then who would watch the TV broadcasts, leaving the TV people to have no reason to air games and thus leaving Gamecenter out of the cold.
