I continue to be baffled by some of the cap intricacies. How is it that they can dump his salary this way? Seems like there are a few instances of this. Could the Devils have done with with Pandolfo or was that barred by his NTC? Not sure there are really any active Devils candidates for this - I am assuming team gets nothing back, whereas if they say traded Zubrus they would in theory get something for him
