Must have been a slow night on SportsCenter for them to dedicate almost 4 minutes to hockey, and it’s non-Crosby or Ovechkin hockey on top of that.

I’ve been away for the weekend. Come back and multiple sources are citing a possible Zajac trade. Don’t guys who write about hockey, you know, at least pay attention to the clubs they write about? I mean, if Zajac is trade, which I cannot imagine happening before the earth ‘splodes, who’s going to play Center1?

Well, I guess Arnott could get moved up and we could use both Henrique and Josefson, keep the 4th the same.

That’d be awesome man.

Besides. I know Parise has been complaining about having a really talented, ever-improving centerman. I bet he’d love to have the chance to work on rebuilding all that chemistry with another guy. Practice makes perfect, right?

Right.

And the benefit is that Arnott isn’t signed beyond next year so ~~when~~ if it doesn’t work out, we can just sign a FA more suited to the 2nd line to an exorbitant contract and have him center Parise or push a kid who’s not ready yet into the spotlight. I fail to see the problem… ship Zajac out NOW!
