This years draft eligibles look decent, but they certaintly arn't as good as last years draft. Since we know that the Devils will NOT make the playoffs this year and will probably be bottom 3 in the league lets take a look at this years top 3 draft eligibles

RANK #1- SEAN COUTURIER- He is very strong and tall and has good hands around the net. Scouts say his skating is horrible not his style but acceleration, stops and starts. Plays centre and is able to be a play maker and a goal scorer. Being centre is definitly helpful to his skating because it isn't a stop and start game so that kind of "diminishes" the flaw. Could be a good fit for the devils considering that they need a playmaking centreman for to play with kovalchuck.

RANK #2- RYAN-NUGENT HOPKINS- He skates tremendously well and is a very creative playmaker with great vision. Not only does he make those around him better, he’s also an adept scorer and as he puts on weight, he will be a very tough player to contain. Could be a good fit for Kovy?

RANK #3- ADAM LARSSON- He’s very calm with the puck and has great poise and vision. He’s very capable offensively and it looks like his offensive play will continue to grow as he matures. His skating is likely the primary concern if you’re looking for one, as his acceleration and quickness aren’t great, but he will have time to work on that aspect.

Just want to know what are your thoughts on this years draft eligibles?
