Brodeur out 7-10 days
Per Gulitti, Marty is out for the next week or so to rehab his ailing shoulder. Perhaps there's a possible Kinkaid start in our future?

That’s a large amount, I figure Kinkaid is getting his first start against Pittsburgh, won’t be easy.
And Kovalchuk speeds away, great moves, busting through, DID YOU SEE THAT?
He’s old[er] and slowing down…….

Brodeur used to never have to dive across his net to make a desperate save.

Before the season a friend of mind and great devils mind (saying something coming from me) said to me goaltending woudl be the weakness of this team. At the time I balked at the suggestion. I though we had enough problems figuring our defense and how many scoring lines we would have. But he was right as least as it looks right now. Fully healthy with Zajac back (pushing possibly Clarkson to a fourth line with a Henrique and a Kovy double shift) this team is at least three if not four lines deep on scoring. Defensively, Larsson is more than even i imagined and I predicted he would make the team going away. THe defense will only get better as the season moves along. Its really goaltending that is questionable. Marty simply keeps getting naggging injuries and I dont see that ever changing, sadly. Hedberg is the man, but how many games can be start and can he hands a deep playoff run? and no one knows about your younger goalies. If there is a trade at the deadline its possible that it could be goaltending depth were looking for.

It’s October. Why are you concerned with the playoffs now?
