I appreciate Shanny’s comments regarding the hits, but I cannot agree with the ability of an observer to determine intent from a video. It shouldn’t be any more complicated than “The primary point of impact was his head.”

It’s certainly an imperfect system but I feel Shanahan has refined it and made it more serious compared with last year.

It looks like Peltz is a NY guy. I would prefer a Jersey guy, but it is what it is. Vanderbeek is committed to this state. It would be nice if the real Steve Forbes (who is a Jersey guy) or Woody Johnson would be interested.
I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.
I don’t think Woody is allowed to buy into the Devils due to the NFL bylaws. It would pose a conflict of interest between the two professional sports.
