Will the Nets back in the Rock help the Devils?
I'm wondering with the end to the NBA lockout, does the Nets playing some games in the Rock help the arena, the NHA and more importantly, does it help the Devils or Vanderbeek at all?

Yes – the Devils Arena Entertainment, which is owned by the Devils – manages, leases, and operates all functions at the Rock. Thus the Devils get revenue from NBA games through their lease agreement (pro-rated I guess since it’s a shortened season), operating revenue like concessions, and ticket sales.

Of course it does
Not only will rent be paid by the Nets, it gets many people to The Rock for the first time and chances are they will see how nice the arena is, how safe the area is and how easy the arena is to get to via mass transit or car, which should lead to more ticket sales for other events at The Rock.
Plus concession sales as well.
The Devils have won more titles than all Philly pro sports teams combined in the last 25 years
