Wins matter. 2 points is 2 points. But out of the games where we earned 2 points (16), the other team has been able to get 1 point 9 times (2 OT and 7 SO). As a playoff bubble team, I'm concerned the Devils are giving away too many points to other eastern conference foes who might edge us out of a playoff spot.

Obviously, when we come from behind and we're able to steal 2 points for the win, I'm happy. But it seems like we are giving teams too many points when we fail to shut the opposing team down and they're able to battle us into OT or the SO. I was getting that "Oh no, not again" feeling when watching Tampa Bay come within a goal late on Monday night. Is anybody else concerned about the ramifications of giving away all these OT points? Am I just blowing it out of proportion?
