Canada is currently leading the game 2-0, goals by Stone and Schwartz.
Wedgewood has been solid so far, and the announcers mention Merrill time to time.

Looks like Merrill just had a bad pass and led to a breakaway goal against. I think it was Merrill, it was hard to tell which Jon it was with all the buffering.

Well, about 5 minutes into the second, and Merrill can play defense, he blocked a shot.

Merrill is QBing the USA’s power play, I presume that is a good sign, they are yet to score though.

Not good.
Wedgewood comes out to play the puck like Moose does, and he gets dived into, and does a 360 flip in the air, and doesn’t come up well. He’s going to play though.

Wedgewood comes right back and stops a shorthanded breakaway on a 5-3.
He’s really playing solid.

Charlie Coyle shoots one by Wedgewood as Canada’s defense breakdowns. It looked as if Wedgewood couldn’t see where the puck was due to his defensemen being infront. USA on the board.
