P.A Annoucer Question

I have been a Devils fan since I first went to the Meadowlands in 1993. I was 4 years old  at the time and became a big Devils fan after attended a bunch of games with my dad. I watch almost every night but haven't really gotten out to the Rock that much. However I do hear the PA announcer Kevin Clark often. I rememeber going to games and hearing a different public address anouncer up until 2003 when the DEvils won the Stanley Cup. I remember his last minute call "last minute play of the period one minute" and Doc Emmrick would always recognize his name when he would make the final call. I was wondering if anyone knew when they made the switch. I have looked up information and cannot find any information of what happened to the old PA announcer or when this change happened. Does anyone know when the change was made and what the old P.A announcers name was? Thanks..
