Tom Gulitti at Fire & Ice points out that per the transfer agreement between Sweden and the NHL, the Devils have until July 15 to sign Adam Larsson, should they want him to play in the 2011-12 season. They can extend it to August 15 by paying his club $100,000. If no deal is reached, Larsson must fulfill the final year of his contract with his club team. Which I not only not have a problem with that happening, but I'd almost encourage it.
