This deal was lost in all the celebration over the Brian Rolston trade. Tom Gulitti reports the Devils signed the veteran winger to a 1 year deal (Thanks to @jcamps30 for mentioning the deal on twitter). The Deal is a 2 way deal, with Veilleux making $525 K in the NHL and $85K in the AHL. Veilleux spent last season playing in Finland and Switzerland, after being unable to secure a contract after recieving a tryout from the Anaheim Ducks. The Devils have around $7.4 M in cap space after this signing.
