TG just posted that Clarkson and Corrente worked with a skating coach over the summer
No more falling over when no one’s around? Lol

TG also tweeted that he’s worked with him years past, so more falls are expected.
And Kovalchuk speeds away, great moves, busting through, DID YOU SEE THAT?
Yeah, I saw that after I posted. More falling down then?

Parise and Elias will be kept together for a while, almost no surprise there as they both are versatile players.
On the other hand, a real good news is that DeBoer’s already seen some chemistry between Kovy & Josefson.

The only reason I think Wysh didn’t pick the Devils on Puck Daddy is because he doesn’t want the comment section to fill up with “Devil bias” accusations.
I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.
i don’t think so, i think wysh simply doesn’t understand how good this team is. wysh is too busy writing articles to figure out the NHL. that sounds paradoxical but i think it’s true.

The thing isn’t that the Devils won’t be a good team, but that the teams who were in the playoffs will and have improved…
And Kovalchuk speeds away, great moves, busting through, DID YOU SEE THAT?
only an insane person thinks that the Flyers improved. Did the Lightning improve? I don’t think so. The Bruins didn’t improve much, if at all. I also don’t think Pittsburgh improved, or that the Rangers improved by as much as people think. NJ has traditionally been a solid shootout team and an excellent 4 on 4 OT team – I think they’ll be playing a lot of overtimes and they’ll come out with a lot of points as a result.

The Rangers might not have improved drastically, but they are definitely still a team to make the playoffs, Penguins are always a good team and as soon as Crosby is back they become an elite team. The Lightning might again not have improved, but they are still really good. The Bruins also, ok, they have not improved from a cup winning team, but then again, they have Seguin and Marchand having a year under them, so if their young players take steps forward just like us devils fans expect our youngsters to take steps forward, whose to say they haven’t improved?
And Kovalchuk speeds away, great moves, busting through, DID YOU SEE THAT?
me, because the bruins also had tim thomas put up the best goaltending season in hockey history.
the east in general will be very strong, but the devils are more likely to make the playoffs than miss them.

I don’t know, I thought so before the Zajac injury, but that definitely complicates things.

other teams have injuries. marc staal might not start the season healthy. chris pronger. sidney crosby. it’s an 82 game season.
