The Parise piece on NHL.com was definitely nice to see. I know I’ll never be comfortable until he has signed on the dotted line long-term, though.

With regards to Parise – I really think it’s just a matter of freeing up some money at the end of this year and then locking him up long-term. I know what has happened with players like Nieds in the past and Lou, but I think this time around the outcome will be much to our liking as part of the Devil’s Army.
