But let’s be real. Lou is cryptic and i’m sure they’re talking something over right now, probably ever since Jan 1st. Now that being said, Zach is also being a little scary in his interviews. When he was signed to that 1 year extension he was all about the devils saying that he wished they had a better deal and that he couldn’t wait till january!

But now? “Money is important, but being on a cup winning team is most important”. Why say that? I mean, if he doesn’t feel the devils are a contender (which I mean they are definitely playoff worthy) why tug on my heart strings? All so cryptic. He says he loves the devils but backhandedly says he wants to look at teams with good futures. The press is smelling blood in the water and they can’t help but laugh at the Devils losing the face of the franchise (even if its just a deal in the making).
