An inch of snow is a Snowpocalypse in Seattle.
I flew into Seattle once some years ago from Spokane, and was scheduled to catch a puddle jumper flight to Bellingham but they closed the entire airport because of a couple of inches of snow.
That whole side of the state absolutely loses their minds when it snows.
Hence the "quotes"
Yeah, it’s hilarious out here. They go crazy for anything over 3" of snow. I guess the ice on all the hills and steep roads in the city is a big issue. Plus, many of the drivers here are from SoCal and they can’t drive in the snow at all.
Even with my 4×4 Toyota, going 30-40MPH on the highway, I was getting passed up by idiots in their Honda Civics going 60. Sheesh.
