Would Parise for a Goalie & picks be worth it?
It's from the Fourth Period, and I think just speculation. But I could see something with Nashville. They do need help up front and are goalie heavy.
But is Lindback > Kinkaid, Frazee or McKenna?

Goalies are so hit-and-miss that you don’t trade an established, premium asset (Parise) for one. Especially for a young goalie that no one has any idea if he can carry the load as a full-time, starting, Number One goaltender.
I agree with acasser. Trading Parise for a goalie would being like trading for a magic bean and hoping that it’s magic and not the next Cloutier/Toskala/Sieve Mason

Not yet
anything coming from Nashville, Kostitsyn has to be included on that deal. He’s got some weakness, but he’s a talented playmaker and can play RW.

McKenna is not on the team anymore. He took his sub .900 save percentage, his twitter account and whining about not enough goalie coaching time to Ottawa’s AHL affiliate.
Lindback did well in the SEL and more NHL ready (obviously) than anything in the Devils system, but not worth giving up a Parise for. Even if you got picks.
Want to know a fair deal? (and perhaps its not even fair from a Devils perspective) Tedenby for Lindback.

Do you think Parise’s stock has dropped though?
It can be argued that he hasn’t been himself after the injury and any buyer before the deadline would have to know he may walk . . .
I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.
Hard to say, teams may think that he is just in the wrong situation.
Considering what Kovalchuk was traded for: Picks, useful defenseman (Oduya), prospect (Cormier) and young NHL player (bergfors) I would think that would be a good template.

No.
Devils in my heart! Devils in my mind! Devils in my eyes! Devils until I die!

Only if that goalie’s name is Pekka or Jimmy, and even then only maybe, if one of the picks is a high #1.
Go Devils
Go Jets
no dice
parise stays. others can go to fit him in financially

the 3-man rush is an admission of lunacy, cowardice, and defeat.
