Around SBN: Why Hockey Fans Should Root For Devils Vs. Kings

Busy month of March

Happy Allstar break/injury recovery week Devil Fans, The not too distant month of March will arrive soon. It brings 17 games in 31 days (for you math geniuses, that leaves only 14 days off!) Packed into this month are a span of 10 days where they play the Islanders 3 times, the Rangers once, and the Flyers in a home/home. Yikes! Let's all pray that the Devils can appropriately take advantage of the 'easier' month of February (only 13 games in 29 days). Our lineup will undoubtedly look somewhat different from what it is now. With the trade deadline at February 27th and possible players coming off injury or getting hurt, who knows what it will look like. Will Zach be a Devil? Will he have a contract beyond this season? or will he enter UFA? Will Travis return to the lineup or will he pull a Zach? New Jersey Devils schedule This is my first FanPost, enjoy!

It's all up in the air with this team

One night it shows that they’re gelling and the next night is full of facepalm. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if it came down to the last final game of the season

As opposed to the first final game?

Go Devils
Go Jets

The Devils will finish in 6th, a point or two better than 8th. The last game of the season will likely get the Devs just enough points to break out of a three way tie in which they won’t hold the tiebreaker.

I’m not going to lie to you. It felt good and I’m going to do whatever is in my power possible to stay there as long as I can. - Petr Sykora on playing on a line with Elias and Parise.
