Classic Lou

I am impressed how a non-statement from Lou was turned into an article. hahaha

I likr the idea about changing the shootout, except that it:

A) Runs contrary to the purpose of the shootout. Its supposed to be a chance for the fans to see each teams’ best players decide the outcome of a tie game with their amazing scoring ability.
B) Do we really want every shootout to go 10-15 rounds? Because that’s what is going to happen.

You’re taking the Ookies far too seriously and I think they’d be the first ones to tell you that.

It is a rather elegant solution, though, you have to admit.

I didn’t say I take it seriously; I said I liked the idea. Its one of those things that sounds great when you’re sitting around the bar drinking. Unfortunately, like most of those ideas, once you sober up you realize how bad it could turn out. ;-)

Cmon, watching John Scott or Jody Shelley in a shootout would be hilarious.

Lol. Time to go green and stop relying on non-renewable energy sources.

I hope someone picks him up. I really do.

Wouldn’t be dead cap space if someone picks him up now. Re-entry waivers is where the Devils would be on the hook for half his salary and cap hit. At league minimum, it’s not a stretch that someone would claim him now.

Even better, who do I have to call?

I think it might be a good idea for Josefson to get some conditioning. I don’t think he needs to work on his skills per-say, but just get conditioned so when he comes back up, he can jump right into the swing of things.

by NJGuy on Jan 8, 2012 2:44 PM EST reply actions

Exactly, plus he can gain some confidence by being able to get some quick production against lesser competition so when he gets back to the big club he isn’t pressing for that first point/goal.
