New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode #94 - Interview with Greg Wyshynski

David Sarch/Talking Red

Talking Red is back with David Sarch interviewing The Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshynski. John Fischer also returned to the show as he and David discussed which Devil did and did not make the USA WJC roster and strange Devils merch from the NHL.com shop.

Welcome to another edition of Talking Red, your favorite New Jersey Devils podcast. I got my voice back so I re-joined David Sarch to talk about Stefan Matteau getting cut from the United States World Junior Championship Team roster, Blake Pietila making it, and the many things you can buy with a Devils logo on it from the NHL.com shop. The big reason to listen to this week's episode is David's interview with hockey blogosphere legend, Yahoo!'s Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy. In the interview, Greg reveals how he broke into the business, how the blog got to be called Puck Daddy, how he got the nickname "Puck" from Ken Daneyko, and his thoughts on the amount of respect Patrik Elias gets. All that and more in David's interview on this very episode of Talking Red.

We'd like to thank Greg Wyshynski for taking the time out of his busy schedule to talk with David. I'd also like to thank David for having me on this episode. As mentioned on the show, David wants to hear from Devils fans like you for about ten to fifteen minutes about some Devils-related questions for a future episode. If you're over 18, you have an opinion, and you want a very slim chance of becoming e-famous, shoot an email to talkingred at gmail dot com.

The usual methods for listening this show still apply. You can get it directly from the Talking Red website; you can get it from iTunes and Stitcher; and you can listen to a stream of it right in this very post. This week's show is 21.27 MB large and 46:28 long.

Please leave your questions for future shows and comments about this show in this post, at the TR website, or on Twitter to @TalkingRed. Thank you for listening and have a pleasant holiday.
