Now, back to the matter of Devils prospects, there is very little to report this week as the CHL is currently on break right now, mainly due to the holidays. Action will resume later this week.

Stefan Matteau- Matteau was cut by team USA yesterday and won't be playing in Ufa. Chris Peters brought up the point that he got tagged for a head checking misconduct, so the higher-ups felt that Matteau's playing style might hurt them more than it would benefit from it. It might suck for him, but the Armada have been reeling lately and could probably benefit from Matteau's return.

Individual Notes

Ben Johnson- Sportsnet's Patrick King lists Ben Johnson as the "Most disappointing player in the OHL" in one of his recent blog posts. I've said before that the Spitfires aren't a very good team, but even then Johnson has seen ice time with good offensive players like Brady Vail. He should be doing better than he is right now. But I've beaten that horse already.
