Time for MSG and Time Warner to pay!!!! My new campaign!
For those of us caught in between the Time Warner MSG war and unable to watch the Devils or other teams MSG covers.
I am mad as H-E-Double hockey sticks and not gonna take it anymore!
I really don't care who's in the right, but it is time to make them both pay.
My campaign is simple, If you own stock in either of their companies......SELL IT!!!!
It's not just enough to switch to DirectTV or Fios.
Many of the 2.3 million caught in this battle have neither option which makes MSG suck.
MSG also pulled this with Dish Network.
Time Warner is too cheap to come to terms with NFL Network, so I feel pretty confident MSG is gone for good too on Time Warner.
The way to make them pay is make February 14th National FU MSG and Time Warner day if they can't resolve this by then.
The way this works is simple, if enough of us who own MSG or Time Warner stock who are sick of this crap sell their stock on February 14th, it will drive down the stock price due to the volume.
This will in turn trigger computer selling of both stocks by Hedge funds, Pension managers and Investment banks, further driving down the price. People will begin shorting both stocks once this occurs, driving the price even further down, forcing both MSG AND Time Warner to have to use assets to cover any loans from drop in stock backed price.
The reason I have chosen February 14th, is we can show them the same kind of love they have shown us.
If we can get enough affected people on board we can make them pay for the missed games.
Even if you are not affected by the MSG TWC standoff, you might want to climb onboard if you own Time Warner or MSG stock or risk facing a huge loss in value of your stocks in these two rotten greedy companies February 14th.
Tell everyone if you've had enough, post to facebook, twitter about this, make a website, make this go viral if you are sick of it, send it to everyone in your email list, or make a comment link to this post in any story you can comment on that is related to this standoff or any teams affected by it.
Thank you for your time to read this and participation in this event should you choose to.

I am beyond frustrated with TWC and MSG. I now go to a bar, Molly Pitchers Ale House on 85th and 2nd ave to watch all the games. I am usually the only Devil’s fan in the bar. Unless I can get one of my buddies to go with me (not big hockey fans).
I am canceling TWC. The only reason I have cable is to watch the Devils, without that… worthless.
I doubt the 14 Devils fans who own TWC or MSG stock selling it will have anywhere near the impact you’re expecting. Even if all the Devils fans with TWC drop them, it would be a drop in the bucket to them. Do whatever’s best for you and forget trying to hurt the big bad machine. It ain’t happening.
Go Devils
Go Jets
TWC does not have a big imprint in NJ, outside of parts of southeast Bergen County and upper Sussex.
I have respect for most sports fans with 2 exceptions: NY Ranger fans who grew up in New Jersey, and Dallas Cowboy fans who can't name the capital of Texas.
True, but there's also Nets-Knicks-Rangers-Islanders
making 5 teams with millions of fans in the NYC area. There are a lot of NY fans that can’t watch their teams either.
I really doubt that many people who are fans of these teams own stock in the companies, but you’d have a much better chance at getting traction if you posted this to the Nets-Knicks-Rangers-Islanders blogs as well.
The better route is to stop being a customer.
Cablevision likes to pull this crap all the time, once with Food Network, and later with Fox. The Fox tiff cost me a Giants game. That to me is unforgivable.
So I cancelled my Cablevision service (well, except for internet, I had no choice there) and signed up with DirecTV.
And let me tell you, DirecTV is far superior to Cablevision. It’s like night and day.
Im pretty content with the radio broadcast personally
In addition Im moving in April into a FIOS area anyway. I dont see this fight getting resolved this season like the Fox-MLB fight that Cablevision had a few years ago

Yeah, umm....
It didn’t work. TWC actually was up yesterday. While MSG was down slightly, it wasn’t that much and the the volume was typical.
Wow.
I can’t believe this is still going on. I just heard on the radio that New Yorkers aren’t able to watch Jeremy Lin and the Knicks or Lundqvist and the first-place Rangers. Yes, they did mention the Devils, Isles, etc.
What a disgrace. I wonder if this will put pressure on the FCC to change the regulatory structure of cable systems to increase consumer choice.
Alternatively (and very different problem not likely to be addressed any time soon), it’s rather difficult to ensure fair pricing and competition in the marketplace when the same people from the same family (the Dolans) own a major television provider (Cablevision), own or lease the stadium (the Garden), have the license for the channels (the MSG channels they own), own the teams (Knicks and Rangers), and therefore the own content itself. Talk about vertical integration.
When negotiating with a rival cable television provider (Time Warner) about the fees to air the content produced by Cablevision/ MSG’s subsidiaries… MSG has tremendous negotiating leverage. Time Warner, TW customers, and TW customers who are Knicks/ Rangers fans have very little.
Dolan’s picked a hell of a time to be a hold out. Primarily, Rangers and Knicks fans are suffering more than anyone. Both teams have something funky going on (leading the East; fighting back into contention with Jeremy Lin etc). Ticket sales would increase anyway to reflect those trends. I wonder what ticket sales would do without them, or what bar/ beer sales would do on game nights.
