With Sestito gone, now onto Ronaldo.

The Flyers will just bring up Ronaldinho to replace him. Gotta keep those slide tackles and slew foots numbers to “shake things up.”
Hm. Slew foots. Slew feet. Slaw foots. Slaw feet? Sluice feets? No good pluralization there.

Parros whacked Boulton good. The ’Stache is an UFA this year so maybe Lou will sign him after he buys out Boulton.
I thought Palmieri did OK the few times he was on the ice. I wonder if we could see a 4th line of Veilleux/Josefson/Palmieri.
He looked out of place when the line was in transition. In each end, he was okay.

Probably true. I was watching on TV and I only noticed Palms a few times, I saw today in the box score he had 9 shifts and abot 5 minutes.
I didn’t notice anything bad and he helped generate a little offense, which is more then a lot of our forwards can say.
The 4th line was solid for their time (they got what – 2 shifts in the 3rd?) I think you’re right that we should see a Veilleux-Josefson-Palmieri line.

Parros is well-known, especially for his moustache and hair. But is he a competent defensemen? He’s pretty big and is a veteran defender (under 35) and has playoff experience (2007 Cup Winner).
Since he’s a local guy and has that moustache, he’d generate fan interest in North Jersey/ Morris Cty/ Randolph/ Delbarton.
But, I think he’d have to bring his PIM down to make it more attractive to me. Lots of those PIM is from fighting, but losing big D man to fights is usually worse than losing a 4th line Boulton or Janssen.
Aside from fights, I wonder if his PIM indicate that he’s undisciplined. I’d have to take a closer look.
Interesting idea though. No more than $1 mil for 2-3 years though. That might even be too much.

Well that makes a lot more sense on both counts!
I guess we’ll never know if he’s a competent defenseman.

cool
Let’s move Janssen to center, then we can have a 4th line of Boulton-Janssen-Parros. PDB would have to love that one!
Go Devils
Go Jets
No way that happens. None of those three can provide the team with the ENERGY!!!1 that Tim Sestito brings.
