The Time: 7:30 PM EDT
The Broadcast: TV - NBC Sports Network; Radio - 660 AM WFAN
The Game: The New Jersey Devils (41-26-5) at the New York Rangers (44-20-7)
The Previews: My preview from much earlier this morning is right here. For the opposition's point of view, Bryan Winters has this short keys to the game post about the game at Blueshirt Banter.
A Song for Tonight: I can't believe that amid all of the songs I've picked, I've yet to feature one by New Jersey hardcore legends Vision. Let's change that. This is "Two Wishes" from their 1998 album The Kids Still Have A Lot to Say. I'd say Devils fans have exactly one wish for tonight.
Gameday Info: Tom Gulitti reported earlier today that the one lineup decision for the Devils is Peter DeBoer deciding in between Cam Janssen and Steve Bernier. I fear we could see Janssen in a competitive rivalry game. Sigh. As for the Rangers, Andrew Gross' post previewing tonight's game at Ranger Rants mentions that Henrik Lundqvist will get the start; their top two lines shall remain the same so Carl Hagelin will be alongside Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik; and their defense will still include rookies Stu Bickel and Tim Erixon on the third pairing. Please target that pairing, Devils.
Please use the comments in this post to discuss tonight's game before, during, and after it happens until the recap is up. Please remember the rules at all times. Namely: keep your comments clean, keep them on topic, and keep them legal (read: nothing about illegal streams - no links, no discussion, no requests). I'll provide the occasional comment here as well as a tweet here and there at @InLouWeTrust. Go Devils!
